Play Therapy 

Ages 4+

Children come to see me for a number of reasons, including help with: 

  • Symptoms of anxiety
  • Symptoms of depression

  • Symptoms of ADHD

  • Anger and irritability

  • Emotional dysregulation

  • Low self-confidence

  • Processing traumatic events

  • School-related stress

  • Social difficulties

  • Grief & loss

  • Adjustment to parental separation or divorce

  • Attachment difficulties

  • Adjustment following adoption and/or foster care 


As a Registered Play Therapist, I have extensive training in using play to help children develop awareness of their emotions, improve their social skills, learn coping strategies, and increase their confidence.

Therapy for Tweens & Teens

For children who have one foot in childhood and another in adolescence, I blend talk therapy with art, music, and their unique interests to address: 

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • ​Perfectionism

  • Difficulty managing symptoms of ADHD

  • Difficulty with self-image and self-esteem

  • School-related stress

  • Peer and friendship challenges

  • Coping with grief and loss

  • Adjustment to family changes (divorce, re-partnering, etc.)

  • Identity exploration as an adoptee

Parent Consultation

Effective and lasting change happens when parents are actively involved in their child's therapy.

We'll work as a team to:​​​

  • Set achievable goals and track your child's progress

  • Add new tools to your parenting toolbox

  • Find ways to help you and your child feel more connected

My approach is non-judgmental and focused on what's realistic for you and your family.
